25th Annual Caruthersville High School Madrigal
The Madrigal has been held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Caruthersville for the past 2 years, due to the destruction of the Caruthersville Middle School Gym in 2006, where it was originally held. The Madrigal is an authentic presentation of fine arts that is composed of both the Caruthersville High School Select Choir and Caruthersville Middle School Select Choir. It is directed by Mr. Ben Counce, accompanied by pianist Judy Adams, Guitarist Brandon Perry, and CHS/CMS Band Director Mr. Craig Chambers, who is joined by chosen brass musicians from both CHS and CMS bands. The Madrigal is consisted of both singing and a play each year. There is also a full course meal served throughout the presentation.
