It's MAP time once again for our 3rd - 5th graders! Attached is the schedule with the dates and times. Please make sure your child is here on time and ready to do their best!

CES Parents: Our after-school programs are canceled today, Thurs. Apr. 3rd.
In order to give parents time to prepare for the incoming weather, Caruthersville School District will dismiss at 2:00 today. Busses will be dismissed first. Parents, please review safety plans with your students and have a safe place to go. District safe rooms will be open tonight for the public.
CES Parents: There will be no after-school programs today, Wednesday, April 2nd.
Parents of 4th - 6th grade students: If your child received a permission slip for the MAP High Achiever reward trip to Hijinx in Jonesboro on Tuesday, April 1st, those slips need to be returned TOMORROW MORNING.
Caruthersville School District #18 will be closed next week, Monday, March 24th - Friday, March 28th for spring break. School will resume on Monday, March 31st. We hope everyone has a relaxing and safe week off!

CSD Parents: This is a reminder that the Preschool/Kindergarten Round-up ends this Friday, March 21st. Preschool spots are limited and are filling up quicker than in the past. The shared flyer has more information. Feel free to call CES if you need more information.
Monday, March 17th is St. Patrick's Day! Students will be allowed to wear green or St. Patrick's Day-themed shirts. Uniform bottoms are required.
CES Parents: Tomorrow is concession stand day! Students can get chips and a soda for $3. We will be starting early. If you want your child to participate, please send the money WITH them instead of bringing it up for them.

Due to the Book Fair being this week, we are rescheduling the concession stand to next week. Wednesday, March 12.
We would like to remind everyone about the Book Fair this week (3/4-3/7) and the Read Across America Dress-up week. Daily themes have been shared via the district website, email, Facebook, and Seesaw. Uniforms ARE required on Tuesday and Thursday.
CES Parents: Thursday, March 6th is the parent event for 2nd grade. See attachment for more information.
Monday, March 3rd is a professional development day for staff. Therefore, students will not be in attendance. Regular schedule will resume on Tuesday, March 4th.
Good evening CES parents. Our 5th-grade has been invited to attend the Black History Program at CHS tomorrow, Friday, 2/28. We will leave CES at 1:30 p.m. and return around 2:50 p.m. We appreciate the invitation and look forward to learning more about our nation's diverse history!
On March 4th, we start the CES Book Fair and Read Across America Week! This means a fun week of reading and dressing up as some of our favorite book themes! We are looking forward to a fun time celebrating our love of books!!
