CES Parents & Students! It’s not too late to come to summer school! We are learning a lot and having fun! Also, students who are here every day this week (4 days) will be entered in a drawing for a $100 gift card. 100 students were entered last week!
CHS Lady Tiger Basketball will begin our journey of becoming "ONE TEAM WITH ONE PURPOSE" next Wed. 5/29 at 8:00 am. Come meet Head Coach Larry Coleman in the gym if you are up to the challenge of becoming the best you. Weights to follow.
On Friday, CES sent out letters to students who were required to attend summer school because of attendance & grades. We also sent home letters to invite students to attend who were not required to come, but might want to join us! Summer school begins on May 20th, and ends on June 13th. The school day will be 8:00am to 12:00 pm. Uniforms are not required, but clothing must be school appropriate. Also, all students are eligible for the bus. The letter with information is being attached. If you would like for your child to attend, please let his/her teacher know by Tuesday, May 14th.
CES Parents! This is a schedule of the award assemblies we will be having at CES over the next couple of weeks. Teachers will send notes home to let you know if your child will be receiving an award.
As many of you know, CES teacher, Summer Wheatley, suffered a severe health issue at school yesterday and is in the hospital. To show support for Mrs. Summer, we'd love for students & community members to wear tie-dyed or KC Chiefs-themed shirts or colors TOMORROW. Your support is greatly appreciated! #SummerStrong
Good afternoon. This message is for CES Preschool Parents! The field trip scheduled for Friday has been moved to tomorrow, Thursday, May 2nd at the original time, due to the weather forecast.
CES 5th Grade Parents! Just a reminder about today's Parent Event from 1:15 pm to 2:00 pm today. Each student is allowed two adults. No extra children, please.
Baseball and track have been cancelled for today. Baseball will practice at 4 at the fields and track will not be having practice today! Thank you!
Caruthersville School District will not be in session on Monday, April 15, 2024 due to Professional Development.
CES Parents: This is just a reminder that tomorrow, Fri. 4/12, is NOT a Spirit/Dress Down Day.
Reminder for 7th Grade CMS Parents: Today is the first day of MAP testing. Please help your students get to school on time. Testing will begin around 8:15 am. 7th grade students will test today and tomorrow and finish up next Wednesday and Thursday.
Preschool Parents! You are invited to 'Pawty' with your preschooler on Wednesday, April 10th from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm in the CES multi-purpose room! Please limit to 2 adults & no additional children. See attachment for more information!

In order to give everyone an opportunity to be outside to enjoy the eclipse, the CES offices will be closed from 1:30 to 2:15.
CES Parents! Tomorrow, students will be allowed to wear solar eclipse t-shirts with uniform bottoms. Also, we will be outside for a little bit, so feel free to send something for them to sit on!
